This simple Shaker-style table made from ash was designed as a writing table for our library.

Ash is known for often having "worm tracks" which are voids that the tree fills with wood fiber after the worms leave. Many people avoid boards with a lot of worm tracks but I actually selected the boards for the top of this piece to show off the unusual pattern left by the worms.
